The cash registers that stopped their connection with AADE for almost six months were found by the auditors of the Independent Public Revenue Authority in a clothing store of a well-known multinational chain, located in the center of Athens, specifically already in Syntagma.

Auditors visit the store based on the data they have on their tablets from the ELEGCHOSlive system, which sees the tax behavior of businesses in real time.

What did they find? That this particular store, from January 15 to June 12 of this year, cut, but did not send, 21,100 receipts, worth 576,000 euros, including VAT of 111,500 euros.

The company was fined 56,000 euros, as provided by law, and the store was locked for 48 hours.

At the same time, the auditors also examined the operations of other stores of the well-known clothing chain, to see if there were similar violations there.
