The Fund, which has completed a century and a half of continuous and uninterrupted operation, pays a dividend, ie returning the accumulated savings from the deposits of shareholders, and the returns realized.

At the same time, the Civil Servants Equity Fund, which currently serves 301,000 dividend-retirees and 303,000 shareholders-insured civil servants, seeks to move to a new era of digital governance, adopting automated processes. , to improve the services provided to it. members. In this direction, it has not only zeroed out its overdue debts, but now the dividend is automatically given.

In 2024 and once the computerized system is tested, it is expected that the first financial facilities, in the form of loans, will be given to active civil servants.

How many will worry about financial facilities?

As Mr. Atsaves, “the Civil Servants Equity Fund is not financed by the state budget. Therefore, the provision of financial facilities to its members is always done within the framework of its financial capabilities and the implementation of its annual budget.

By 2024, approximately 2,000 to 2,500 active civil servants are expected to be served. The potential beneficiaries are all active civil servants, who are subject to deductions in favor of the Fund.

The specific criteria and the final categories of beneficiaries will be clarified within 2024 by a decision of the Board of Directors of the Fund and with relevant announcements, taking into account the categories of its members which shows the greatest need”.

The application and the entire process, as well as communication with the Fund, will be done electronically.

The shareholder of the Fund – an active civil servant, according to the current institutional structure, has the right to receive three basic gross salaries. The loan is paid in 36 interest-bearing fixed monthly installments with deductions from his salary and a fixed interest rate, which is calculated based on the performance of the Fund’s reserves and their interest, held by the Bank of Greece

The connection of the Fund with other public organizations and institutions, such as registries and civil registries, through the interoperability services of the Ministry of Digital Governance, contributes decisively to the reduction of bureaucracy and the service of citizens, served by submission of a simple electronic application and without the presentation of supporting documents, which were required before.

Also, from March 1, 2022, an integrated system for the electronic processing of applications, which is constantly upgraded, will operate on the website of the Fund, where the citizen connects and submits his application electronically, was informed of its progress and received the service’s response electronically. This is a modern way of service, which offers the possibility of submitting applications electronically and managing the activities of citizens, who can submit their requests to the services of the Fund electronically and do not need their physical presence, as well as direct contact with a representative. of the Fund to arrange a meeting, to submit a question and to settle their case. The online application acts as a digital citizen communication box.

Also, dividend holders, through the Fund’s website (www.mtpy.gr), can be informed about the amount of the dividend, print the dividend decisions related to them, find out about the quarterly payment of their dividends, as well as to receive the annual dividend certificate for tax purposes. The current application is constantly upgraded and improved with new services.

In addition, in July 2022, the digital services of MTPY joined a digital portal of the State “gov.gr”, while, from the same month (July 2022), MTPY joined 1555, the Single Citizen Service Number for labor, insurance and social issues of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, improving the level of service to its shareholders and shareholders.

With an automatic process, the giving of dividends

According to Mr. Atsavé, the main achievement is the acceleration of the dividend distribution process, where it is now done directly and automatically.

As he explained, “making overdue claims is a thing of the past for the Civil Servants Equity Fund. The civil servant now knows that the dividend regulation decision will be issued and the dividend he is entitled to will be paid, even for one months from the submission of his supporting documents.

In particular, at this time and at the end of June, the new individual and widow dividends will be paid to the beneficiaries, who have submitted their supporting documents until May 31, 2024”.
