Share prices recorded a mild upward trend today (25.6.2024) at the opening of the session Stock Exchange in Athens, amid the negative climate of the Europeans transactions.
The General Index of the Greek stock exchange at 11:00, stood at 1,428.82 points, marking an increase of 0.34%. The value of the transactions amounts to 10.22 million euros. The large cap index is 0.48%, while the mid-cap index is 0.19%.
In the upper part of the capitalization, the biggest increase was recorded in the shares of Motor Oil (+2.30%), Eurobank (+2.19%), Coca Cola HBC (+1.76%) and Sarantis (+1 .65%). On the contrary, the biggest decrease was registered in the shares of Titan (-4.25%), Aegean (-1.68%) and Elvalhalcor (-1.21%).
Without dividend rights, the shares of Optima Bank (0.44 euros), Titan (0.85 euros), Hexae (0.24 euros), ElvalHalcor (0.04 euros), Viohalco (0.12 euros), Cenergy (0.08 euros), Quest Holdings ( 0.22 euros) and Intracom (0.05 euros).
24 stocks increased, 33 decreased and 26 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded in the shares: CPI (+2.27%) and Motor Oil (+2.24%), while the biggest decrease was recorded in the shares: Intercontinental International (-29.80%) and Mathios Pyrimaha (-6, 91% ).
European stock markets
European shares fell in early trade today (25/06/2024), with industrial shares under pressure due to Airbus’ withdrawal.
The pan-European STOXX 600 was down 0.3% at 10:07 GMT, with Airbus shares down 8.4% after Europe’s largest aerospace group lowered targets for plane deliveries and financial performance.
The tech index fell 1.5% after Wall Street’s losses last night.
