Acceleration of pension provision, further digitization of services

The offices of the e-EFKA Administration, at 22 Akadimias Street, were visited today by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Niki Kerameos, a few days after his new duties.

Ms. Kerameos, after thanking the leadership of the organization and all the staff for the impressive steps taken by e-EFKA in the past years, expressed the certainty that the course in digital transformation proceed dynamically with the next important steps. As he pointed out, “the success story of the Agency raises the level of expectations for improving the daily life of citizens, by further upgrading the services provided”.

e-EFKA: Facilitating the provision of basic and additional pensions

The Minister pointed out that times call for vigilance and not resting on what has been achieved. He also noted that effective collaboration will bring better results in terms of speeding up the provision of primary and auxiliary pensions, as well as further digitalization of the Agency’s services.

For his part, the Governor of e-EFKA Alexandros Varveris, after wishing the Minister the best for his term, refers to the vision of the Administration for the new e-EFKA with the contribution of the new Information System , as well as the new challenges the Agency will face.

Finally, he noted that the effort to fully digitize e-EFKA will continue at a more intensive pace and with the new leadership of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, so that the Agency can be more effective.
