Prices closed with a slight fall shares at the meeting of Stock exchange Athens today (17.7.2024), as at the end they limited the initial losses, while the turnover fell to 90 million euros..
In particular, from the high capitalization, shares of Coca Cola HBC and OPAP outperformed. The General Index of the stock market closed at 1,446.92 points, registering a small drop of 0.17%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price of 1,438.62 points (-0.69%).
The value of the transactions amounted to 90.71 million euros, while 16,798,341 shares were sold.
The large-cap index fell 0.20%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.19%.
In large capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded in the shares of Coca Cola HBC (+1.63%), OPAP (+1.28%), Piraeus (+0.53%) and OTE (+0 .43%).
On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded in the shares of Aegean Airlines (-2.24%), Jumbo (-1.81%), Alpha Bank (-1.60%) and Autohellas (-1.53%).
The largest number of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 3,644,335 and 2,739,809 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 11.61 million euros and Piraeus with 10.05 million euros.
41 stocks rose, 53 fell and 26 remained stable.
The biggest increases were recorded in the shares: Agrotikos Oikos Spyrou +9.92% and Leventeris(p) +5.34%.
