European markets fell at the open, with investors focusing on yesterday’s announcement by the Fed on the pace of US interest rates.
In Frankfurt the DAX index fell 0.26% to 18,587 points, as in London the FTSE100 decreased 0.2% to 8,201 points and in Paris the CAC decreased 0.12% from 7,855 points.
In Milan the MIB decreased by 0.44% to 34,208 units, as in Madrid the IBEX decreased by 0.23% to 11,205 units.
Regional markets digested the Fed’s decision on Wednesday to keep interest rates at 5.25% to 5.5% and predicted a rate cut this year.
