AADE: Deadline for tax declarations of legal entities postponed to July 26

Posted on

The submission deadline has been postponed to July 26 tax returns of legal entities, so that the submission deadline coincides with the deadline for declarations of natural persons, after the decision of the Governor of AADE George Pitsilis.

There are 44 days left for timely submission of tax returns. This year, the submission of declarations started on 1/5/2024, earlier than any other year, and so far only 54,344 declarations have been submitted. Note that last year 308,752 tax returns of legal entities were submitted on time.

When is IBAN optional for tax return?

For this purpose, the Independent Public Revenue Authority calls on businesses to speed up the submission of their declarations.

It is pointed out that due to the postponement of the deadline for submitting the income tax return of legal persons and legal entities, natural persons who join legal persons and legal entities that keep aplographic books , can submit their income tax return until August 16, 2024.

Remember that the payment of income tax:

  • of legal persons and legal entities is made in eight (8) equal monthly installments, where the first is paid on 31/7 and the following on the last working day of each month,
  • of natural persons joining legal persons and legal entities with aplographic books, made in six (6) equal monthly installments, of which the first is paid on 9/30 and the following on the last working day of each month.

AADE services are available to tax companies for any necessary clarification. Those interested can contact the Taxpayer Service Center of AADE, on phone 213 162 1000, on working days and hours 07:30 – 17:00.
