Stock prices today (14.6.2024) on the Athens Stock Exchange show strengthening trends, with limited turnover, amid a slight decline in European markets.
The General Index at 11:00, stands at 1,437.79 points, marking a marginal drop of 0.05%. The value of the transactions amounted to 2.989 million euros. The large-cap index rose slightly by 0.03%, while the mid-cap index fell slightly by 0.02%.
In high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded in the shares of Quest Participations (+1.12%), Coca Cola HBC (+0.69%) and GEK TERNA (+0.36%). On the contrary, the biggest decrease was registered in the shares of Alpha Bank (-0.96%), Piraeus (-0.72%), Titan (-0.65%) and Jumbo (-0.52%).
21 stocks increased, 26 decreased and 9 remained stable. The biggest increase was recorded in the shares: EUROLAB + 4.62% and Lampsa + 2.72%, while the biggest decrease was recorded in the shares: Medical -8.87% and Kordellou Brothers -5.18%.
European indices are red
European stock market indices are moving with strong negative trends. Specifically, the general index of the Paris stock market (CAC 40), fell by 1.43%. The Milan index (FTSE MIB) decreased 1.56%,
The Madrid index (IBEX 35) decreased by 0.55%. Frankfurt’s DAX was down 0.59%, while London was down 0.19%.
The Stoxx 600 was down 0.35%.
