The ones that move up prices in parts at the beginning of the last meeting (31.12.2024) of Stock Exchange of Athens for 2024, amid a bad climate and limited volatility in the European stock market.
Specifically, the General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange stood at 1,463.71 points, marking an increase of 0.51%. The amount of transactions amounted to 13.46 million. euros.
The large cap index rose 0.62%, while the mid-cap index was up 0.21%.
On the high capitalization side, the biggest increases were recorded in the shares of Piraeus (+1.68%), Sarantis (+1.31%), Mytilene (+1.09%) and Motor Oil (+1.08%). On the contrary, the biggest decrease was registered in the shares of PPA (-0.66%) and Titan (-0.25%).
51 stocks increased, 16 decreased and 13 remained stable. The biggest increase was recorded in the shares: Ave + 6.73% and Centric + 5.73%, while the biggest decrease was recorded in the shares: Lavipharm -1.39% and PPA -0.66%.

European stock markets lost at the start of the last session for 2024, as uncertainty over the path of monetary policy and political changes halted the rally that pushed many markets to record highs in earlier this year.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index was unchanged at 10:21 am Greek time and headed for its worst quarterly performance in more than two years.
Trading volume was limited as stock markets in Germany, Italy and Switzerland were closed while those in France, Spain and Britain were expected to close earlier today.
