Chairman of the Association of Kostroma Doctors Vladimir Unguryan condemned the Kostroma surgeon Antona Kazantseva due to the involvement in the national context of the dismissal scandal, reports a Novosti44 correspondent. The doctor headed the commission of the Department of Health, which conducted its own review of the situation. The doctor gave comments to Komsomolskaya Pravda publication.
Unguryan’s comments can be called extremely careful and balanced. However, the doctor considered the surgeon’s decision to go public with the situation wrong and condemned him for the xenophobic aspects of the accusations.
“I think that in any profession it is not completely right to wash dirty linen in public. Obviously, this is life, conflicts happen, work is stressful, working with people, etc. But can speak I tell you that from the point of view of some kind of nationality connection, we have not had it before. To understand, I graduated from the Military Medical Academy, my platoon commander is an Ossetian, and my deputy platoon commander. is a Bashkir. We have not even evaluated the work of people based on their nationality. These, in my opinion, are simple facts that exist not only in our medical community,” said the chairman of Kostroma Region Doctors Association.
We remind you that Kazantsev previously published an appeal about the alleged violations of the hospital. He said that the surgeons employed at the hospital are incompetent and are responsible for the death and injury of patients. At the same time, the surgeon mentioned the conflict between members from Asian republics and Russian nurses. He described what happened as “the genocide of the Russians.”
After this, the situation at the hospital became public knowledge. The doctor’s blog and video messages are viewed by millions of people. Investigations of his arguments are now being carried out from four sides – the prosecutor’s office, the Investigative Committee, Roszdravnadzor and the Department of Health.
